The Paul Nicholls-trained mare was a commanding presence throughout the race, hinting at a promising future. Maiden and novice hurdles at Taunton track are renowned for nurturing champions, with past participants like JPR One and Golden Ace rising to top-level success. Originally slated for Ffos Las the previous Saturday, Jesuila Des Mottes was rerouted to Taunton, a tactical decision made for the improved ground conditions.
Sean Bowen proved his mettle with a victory on First Angel.
